Lady Gaga, "The Edge Of Glory"

  "There ain't no reason
you and me should be alone
  Tonight, yeah baby
  Tonight, yeah baby
  I've got no reason that
you should take me home tonight

I need a man who thinks it right
  when it's so wrong,
  Tonight, yeah baby
  Tonight, yeah baby
Right on the limits where we know
  we both belong tonight"

It's time to feel the rush,
To push the dangerous
I'm gonna run back to, to the edge with you
Where we can both fall hard in love

Adele, "Someone Like You"

"I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited,
But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it,

I had hoped you'd see my face,
And that you'd be reminded
that for me it isn't over,
Never mind, I'll find someone like you,
I wish nothing but the best for you, too,
Don't forget me, I beg,
I remember you said,

"Sometimes it lasts in love,
But sometimes it hurts instead,"
Sometimes it lasts in love,
But sometimes it hurts instead, yeah"

Adele (Adele Laurie Blue Adkins) was born in Tottenham, London, England, on 5 May 1988.
In 2006, when a friend posted her demos on MySpace, she received a recording contract from XL Recordings. Her debut album, "19" was released in 2008 the second, "21" in 2011.
The success of "21" made Adele the first artist to sell more than 3 million copies of an album in a year in the UK. With her two albums and the first two singles from "21", "Rolling in the Deep" and "Someone Like You", Adele became the first living artist to achieve the feat of two top five hits in both the UK Official Singles Chart and the Official Albums Chart simultaneously since the Beatles in 1964.

Queen, "Somebody to love"

  "Can anybody find me
  somebody to love
Oh, each morning I get up I die a little
Can barely stand on my feet
  (Take a look at yourself)
Take a look in the mirror and cry (and cry)
Lord what you're doing to me (yeah yeah)
I have spent all my years
  in believing you
But I just can't get no relief, Lord!

  Somebody (somebody)
  oh somebody (somebody)
Can anybody find me somebody to love? [...]

Somebody to Love is a song by British rock band Queen. Written by singer/pianist Freddie Mercury, the track featured on their 1976 album "A Day at the Races".
During The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, on April 20, 1992, Somebody to Love was played live with George Michael on lead vocals. Since its release, the song has appeared on television and film, and has been covered by a number of artists.

Dire Straits, "Romeo and Juliet"

"I can't do the talk,
like the talk on TV
And I can't do a love song,
like the way it's meant to be.
I can't do everything,
but I'll do anything for you.
I can't do anything,
'cept be in love with you!

And all I do is miss you and the way we used to be.
All I do is keep the beat... and bad company.
Now all I do is kiss you through the bars of a rhyme,
Juliet, I'd do the stars with you any time!

Juliet, when we made love you used to cry.
You said, "I love you like the stars above, I'll love you 'til I die".
There's a place for us, you know the movie song.
When you gonna realize it was just that the time was wrong, Juliet?

And a love-struck Romeo sings a street-suss serenade
Laying everybody low with a lovesong that he made
Finds a convenient streetlight, steps out of the shade
He says something like, "You and me babe, how about it?"

Snow Patrol, "New York"

"If you were here beside me
instead of in New York
if the curve of you was curved on me
I’d tell you that I loved you
before I even knew you
cause I loved the simple thought of you...

If our hearts are never broken
well there’s no joy in the mending
there’s so much this hurt can teach us both.
Though there’s distance and there’s silence
your words have never left me
they’re the prayer that I say every day.

Come on, come out, come here, come here
Come on, come out, come here, come here
Come on, come out, come here, come here
Come on, come out, come here, come here"

Chicago, "If You Leave Me Now"

"If you leave me now, you'll take away the biggest part of me
Uh uh uh uh no baby please don't go
And if you leave me now, you'll take away the very heart of me
Uh uh uh uh no baby please don't go
Uh uh uh uh no girl I just want you to stay...
A love like ours is love that's hard to find
How could we let it slip away
We've come too far to leave it all behind
How could we end it all this way
When tomorrow comes and we'll both regret
The things we said today
